Off Topic

Goals are important to have, I think by now we all have them.  However what determines a dream vs Fantasy? is it up to the gods? a god? you? your surroundings? just what exactly? So, this is what I want to do, and I will re-visit this post in 6 months to follow up on results. Here are my top 5 goals that I can right now dream of... (Remember, the difference between the two are: Dreams are attainable and can be within reach, a Fantasy is something that is simply that its kept in a place that is out of your capabilities)  Sometimes, dreams become fantasies and in a very select few times a fantasy does come true (usually with a price as well)

1. A job where I feel secure, happy to go to every day, and contributing to better the company and growing towards what now should be bigger and better things career wise.

2. A relationship where mutual respect and understanding is clear from the word go, communication is a must for both of us, and a long term future is forseen between us.

3. Debt.  While I don't have thousands and thousands of debt, I have enough that is ruining my credit.  I want that gone!

4. Go to Sema Car show in Vegas. (While I can't get a new car or a muscle car, if you want to see the best that is the place to go)

5. Go to Chicago! I miss it very much, my friends, the city, the random people  everything! And yes, even the snow.  I'll trade the 29 days of nothing but 100 + degree weather any day.

So there are mine, what are yours? Lets revisit these six months from now and discuss.

Want VS Need

I have been thinking the last past couple of days about who I am now vs who I was 5,10,15 years ago.  I want to know if any of the readers have had this same thought process or I'm just going loco.  I'll start with these, however please feel free to add similar thoughts!

So, onto the first Relationships

When I was in High school, I had quite a few friends! it wasn't until my Sophmore year in High School, when my mom had a heart attack and died for 2 minutes! they used the paddles and everything... Thankfully, she made it thru but it was then that I knew that I need to change who I was, me as a person.  So, I looked around and found the one guy that seemed like he had it all.  Which when your in H.S The one with the most friends wins. This dude was friends with the geeks, jocks, hot girls, ugly girls, everyone! So, it was then that I decided to just relax and treat everyone how I wanted to be treated.  In the process I met even more friends, and quite a few that I still talk to today. I could go on about high school and regrets (I have plenty) but my point on this particular topic has not changed.  Although, now I do have a few criteria's for a friend I don't think they are much different than anyone else's.  It's how we prioritize the things that make a good friend.

That's it for this post, but will continue with Work for my next post. Love to hear from the readers! holla! lol
